Introduction to Xinzhen Health

Xinzhen Health is a life attitude of cooperating with disease which recommends changing one’s lifestyle in all aspects as a key factor in preventing the appearance and/or recurrence of chronic disease. Xinzhen Health’s method is based on the patterns of recurrence of chronic diseases.

Xinzhen Health emphasizes the right lifestyle rather than concentrating on the disease itself when facing it. As such, what is the right lifestyle as defined by Xinzhen Health? It can be summarized in seven principles:

 

1 - Mood Self-Management : manage your emotions, preserve your inner joy.

2 - Foods of Plant Origin : frequent consumption of these nutrients should, and a reduction in the consumption of animal products.

3 - Raw Processed Foods : should be consumed rather than highly-processed foods.

4 - Ratio of Raw Food per meal : a certain amount of uncooked food should be eaten at every meal.

5 - No Excess : food should never be excessively consumed.

6 - Sleep Patterns : one should always sleep before 11:00 PM.

7 - Exercise : 30 minutes a day of physical exercise.

 

These seven principles define a lifestyle which should lead to health by removing bad habits and replacing them with good habits based on the laws of Cause and Effect. Remember that these methods should not be used to treat chronic diseases. But, in order to achieve health, it is important to concentrate on the positive aspects, rather than disease and negative things.

The central idea of Xinzhen Health if that chronic disease is caused by the accumulation of bad habits due to a bad lifestyle. Main causes of this are poor mood management and food intake, lack of physical exercise and sleep, etc. As such, diseases should not be seen as enemies, rather as messengers telling us that lifestyle change is needed before further deterioration and, ultimately, death. When facing disease, one must not suppress the symptoms, and focus on changing one’s lifestyle to clear up the base factors of the disease to regain one’s health.

To put this idea into practice, we must stop depending on medication and break the thought-process which seeks an infallible formula-defined diet to treat disease. We must be responsible for our own health, and observe and correct our lifestyle in all aspects: from what food we eat to our mood, sleep and exercise routines.

Concerning food, Xinzhen Health does not recommend treating disease with diet, but rather to concentrate on changing the metabolic basis of one’s health. Xinzhen Health recommends drinking vegetable and fruit juice for breakfast, reducing the amount of food eaten at each meal, and integrated a certain ratio of uncooked nutrients per meal, as well as staying away from highly processed food. However, in cases of special needs, such as pregnancy, disease, childhood or over-consumption, it is highly-recommended to continue eating the food which is suitable to your health, and only consume a variety natural, raw unprocessed food in addition every day. It is important to note that Xinzhen Health does not reject medical treatment for disease. During medical treatments, make efforts to avoid negative effects on your health through hormonal drugs, anti-fever drugs, etc.

Concerning mood self-management, Xinzhen Health proposes looking at one’s self and adjusting one’s behavior or thought when negative mood arises, rather than criticizing others. This will lead to the acceptance of one’s own circumstances and preserve inner joy.
